Key Idea for Successful Business Models

February 21, 2019

Collaboration and Generosity are two of the most fundamental principles of a successful, long-term business model.

If you're American, you've probably been inundated with the idea of the solo success story, who from rags to riches, saved the day, completely and utterly alone.

Well, story over.  It's old, absurd, and probably has more to do with privilege, than any pulled-up bootstraps.

If you take a look at the entire story, I always see one true believer, lurking in the background.  The faithful, and ever loyal supporter. Whether, lover, friend, or animal companion, there is almost always a support system in place.

Take the most recent story of The Greatest Showman.

He didn't start with nothing.  I mean, maybe economically he had very little, but he had the love of a girl.  And not just any girl, THE GIRL.  A fan, a loyal supporter in the background, whispering, "You can, almost, just keep believing, don't give up now when you're so close."

Support is a MUST.

You will fail if you don't have any support.  The universe is dependent on the structure for its support.  We are no different.

So, if you're lucky enough to already have the support, free, loving, believing, don't take it for granted.  Show them your appreciation, gratitude and love.

And if you're looking for support, reach out and connect to those who embody the attributes you desire to attain for yourself.  Don't be in competition with them, be inspired by them.

Also, hire a coach.  I did.  When I wanted to succeed at my business and wanted challenged.  Now, I have the opportunity to coach others and I love it!  I am so thankful to be in a place where I can support someone else.

And I still have my own people I go to for support.  I have a few wonderful people I see, to be inspired, challenged, and supported.

Nobody does it alone.  And if they somehow do, they're probably very, very lonely.
